Getting started
First, the dentist talks with you about your goals and examines your teeth to make sure they'll benefit from Invisalign. He then writes a detailed treatment plan and orders your full set of custom aligners.
How treatment works
You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, then switch to the next. Treatment length depends on your teeth, but a full program often takes less than a year.
Clear, comfortable and convenient
The aligners are virtually invisible, so most people won't notice you're wearing them. With no wires or brackets, they're comfortable, and you can take them out to eat, drink, brush and floss — or for a special occasion. For the best results, wear them as prescribed, about 20–22 hours a day.
